Our bodies were made to move! However, for many of us, our work and commute requires us to sit for up to 9hrs a day. ‘Walk and Talk’ meetings are a great alternative as a way to get moving without compromising your work. If you have a meeting with someone that doesn’t require a computer, rather go for a walk – be it in the forest, the beach front or your local park..
At Earthchild Project, we’ve discovered that besides for getting an hour’s exercise and some fresh air into our working day, there are other benefits. For example, it’s easier to pause and think when you are side by side compared to sitting across from someone at a table. Also, when we literally get ‘out the box’, our thinking changes and becomes more fluid and creative.
