Braving the Rain: Hike with Sakumandela Primary

On Saturday, 16 May, our hiking club at the Sakumandela Primary School braved the Cape Town winter elements as they hiked in the area around Devil’s Peak, and the Murray and Stewart Quarry. Our Earthchildren kept warm with donated fleeces – perfect gear for the weather.

There’s nothing like a hike to connect one to the environment, without connection it is very difficult to bring about transformation. Thanks to everyone who supports our work and has helped create days like this!
