Lesley-Ann Brandt is a South African born actress who grew up in Athlone, Cape Town and later moved to New Zealand, before settling in the United States. Lesley-Ann now lives in the US with her husband and son and is a successful actress, a yogi, a mother, and a passionate philanthropist who supports many organisations and movements, with Earthchild Project being one of them. Lesley-Ann visited Earthchild Project in 2019 and has co-hosted international fundraisers for our organisation and continues to support us through donations and by creating valuable awareness about our cause.



Laura Malina Seiler is a mindful empowerment coach, a speaker, and an author. Her vision is to create a new awareness of one’s own potential and to inspire as many people as possible to follow their passion and give their gifts the world. Through her coaching, she has supported thousands of people in finding their own authentic path in life. Laura first visited Earthchild Project in January 2018 and has supported our organisation ever since, through donations, creating meaningful connections between Earthchild Project and many new supporters, and most recently through her clothing brand ‘Rock on & Namaste’.



tamsin sheehy

Tamsin has been teaching yoga since 2004 and now runs her own studio, The Shala, in the heart of Cape Town. We first met Tamsin in 2008 when we were lucky enough to have offices just below her studio, and since then Tamsin, her husband Tom and the whole Shala team have become integral members of the extended Earthchild family! From offering free yoga and teacher trainings to our team & organising weekly donation classes and big once off events, Tamsin has supported Earthchild Project in many many different ways over the years.

Joëlle Sleebos is originally from Holland and lives in Cape Town. She discovered yoga in 2007 in Australia and began teaching in 2010. Since 2012 she made a radical change of career and changed her hobby into a full-time job in the fitness and yoga industry. This was the best choice she ever made as she absolutely loves what she does! Joelle hosted the first International Day of Yoga event in Cape Town in 2016 and has since grown the event from strength to strength, with all proceeds coming to Earthchild Project.

Melissa is the owner of Yogaway Yoga and Pilates Studio in Newlands, Cape Town – a very small and intimate studio, offering a nurturing and gentle way of finding your own practice. She has been practicing yoga for over a decade in order to support her own physical and emotional well-being. Melissa volunteered to help Earthchild Project organise the Practice in the Park fundraiser events in 2012, 2013 & 2014. In addition, since 2012 Melissa has been incredibly committed to teaching a weekly extra mural yoga class at one of our Khayelitsha schools.



schalk viljoen

Yoga came into Schalk’s life when he moved from South Africa to Darmstadt in 2000. Since then the Jivamukti Community in London has been his spiritual home. The world of business and IT is Schalk’s day job, yoga is his passion. Since November 2015, Schalk has been organising donation classes for Earthchild Project at the various studios where he teaches in both Germany. All proceeds from his classes at B.Yoga, Basel Switzerland are donated to EarthChild Project.



bridgett luff

Bridget Luff is an experienced teacher and eternal student of yoga and movement. Originally from South Africa, Bridget has lived in London for many years. She was introduced to Earthchild Project in 2014 as she was looking to connect with a local charity. She organised a fundraiser yoga class in July 2014 which was a great success! After visiting Earthchild Project in 2015, she organised further fundraiser classes and introduced us to many fellow yogis who have followed suit.
