Since those early days, the journey has unfolded organically. What started small has grown into a network of programmes across eight schools, including food gardens, living classrooms, extra murals, holiday programmes, teachers wellness, alumni initiatives and leadership development. Today, Earthchild Project runs nine programmes, each one grounded in the same values that shaped the beginning: Integrity, quality relationships, learning & growing, meaningful & sustainable change, and being conscious & aware.
As we enter our 20th year, we are taking a moment to pause.
To reflect on the children who found calm on a yoga mat for the first time.
On the teachers who were supported and seen.
On the volunteers who gave their time and hearts.
On the partners and schools who believed in the work.
This milestone is not just about how far we’ve come, but it’s about honouring every person who has been part of the journey. Earthchild Project has always been shaped by the people within it, and this year is an invitation to reconnect, remember and celebrate together.
Over the months ahead, we’ll be sharing stories from the past 20 years … voices from our community, moments of growth, and reflections on what it truly means to plant seeds that last a lifetime.
If you’ve ever been part of Earthchild Project, as a learner, teacher, volunteer, partner or supporter, then this celebration is for you.
Thank you for walking this path with us. The work continues. The seeds keep growing. 🌱
